When you love your work it becomes art, whether you garden, build houses or in this case, raise chickens and sell the eggs. I did 36 egg carton covers covering Art History (from a hens point of view) of famous artist paintings, some very well known and some obscure. As a kid, this was the kind of stuff that got me interested in art. I may never get into a gallery, but I can get into other peoples lives. During the winter I wrote and illustrated a children's book that I might get around to publishing someday. I still paint murals,
I still do art for arts sake. Yet I am drawn to art that isn't for art's sake, its art that forgot for a moment that it was even important at all.
