I am always thinking about things, reflecting on my life and my experiences. I feel the pull to make images that echo my experiences in life- to own these experiences and follow my perspective to a place where I can understand and feel my own space. To be the calm center in the storm.
It is a great and powerful thing to reach into the stuff of daydreams, mix what is found there with paint and find a balanced perspective to call my own. My hope is that my images bring a sense of connection to others. I would hope that there is happiness for others through what I do, the way other artists inspire me.
