Susan Mulholland
Susan B. Mulholland has been a silk screen artist since graduating from Connecticut College in New London, Ct. in 1973 with a degree in Studio Art. She lives in Leverett Ma. on the shores of Leverett Pond, where the wildlife is her inspiration. All of her silk screens are printed by hand at her studio at Leverett Crafts and Arts in Leverett Center. Her subjects are the animals, birds and flowers of New England, as well as equestrian designs from her lifelong love of horses. These designs are printed on note cards, matted and framed prints and t-shirts. She has taken classes at Snow Farm in batik, silk screening on fabric and calligraphy. Her work is sold locally at Skera Gallery in Northampton, and Dion Tack and Gallery in Hadley, as well as at several craft fairs in Ma. and Ct. throughout the year.
